Hajj 2021 Update

Saudi Arabia makes coronation vaccination mandatory for pilgrims The Ministry of Health has issued regulations for Hajj 2021.
According to the rules issued for Hajj by the Saudi Ministry of Health, only those who have been vaccinated against coronavirus will be able to perform Hajj this year.

According to the regulations, pilgrims must present proof of having been vaccinated by the World Health Organization (WHO) against the corona virus, and must complete a course of corona vaccine at least 2 weeks in advance.
According to the Saudi government, pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia this year with the intention of Hajj will be quarantined for 72 hours, while a PCR test will be mandatory at most 72 hours in advance.

The Saudi Ministry of Health says 60 percent of locals in Mecca and Medina will be vaccinated against the coronavirus during the Hajj.
It should be noted that in the year 2020, due to the outbreak of Corona virus, only one thousand people were allowed to perform Hajj, including locals and non-locals living in Saudi Arabia.
On the other hand, Saudi King Salman on March 12 removed the Minister of Hajj and Umrah Muhammad Saleh Bentin and appointed Issam bin Saeed as the acting Minister in his place.
In December last year, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri had said in a statement that Hajj would be expensive in corona SOPs.
